ASCO Cancels Annual Meeting, Switches to Virtual Format

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) announced that its upcoming annual meeting, scheduled for May 29-June 2 in Chicago, would be canceled due to health and safety concerns from the coronavirus.

ASCO is planning on offering its scientific program in a virtual format, as well as publishing abstracts online and in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

The meeting’s educational program will not be taking place during the original timeframe.
