In a recent interview with the Michigan Health Hearth Health blog Marion Hofmann, MD, a cardiologist at Michigan Medicine, discusses Loeys-Dietz Syndrome (LDS), a rare disorder that affects connective tissue, impacting blood vessels including the aorta.

Dr Hofmann typically treats 10 to 15 patients with LDS each year.
